Tonight's CrossTalk Will Be on Zoom
We moved our in-person CrossTalk meeting for Friday, January 10th to Zoom due to potential snow/ice storms. That means anyone, anywhere can join us tonight at 7pm EST. If you'd like to join us, message our Facebook Recovery Classroom page & we will send you the Zoom link.
Friday Night In Person
We Are Heartbroken
To announce the passing of our friend & brother, Joshua "BigFoot" McCormick. Please keep his family in your prayers.
Who We Are
We’re just a collection of recovering alcoholics & drug addicts who like to meet up & talk. We’re not a rehabilitation center; we’re not an AA group, nor an NA group. We are simply a collection of like-minded men & women who enjoy meeting & discussing our recovery efforts. We seek to leverage other people’s experience, strength & hope to help overcome our own addiction issues.
We’re not here to convince you of anything – other than “recovery is possible“!
While adopting the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous as our spiritual source of reference & their suggested 12 Steps of Recovery, we do not promote any specific recovery pathway but rather welcome & encourage all methods of combating substance use disorders.
Autonomy & Anonymity
We encourage autonomy, rather than indoctrination. Understanding that every person has different experiences & may require a different path of recovery, we firmly believe that everyone recovers differently. We encourage all who attend our meetings to find a pathway that works for them, & look to offer a continued moral & spiritual support, regardless of how an individual chooses to recover.
We want those who attend our meetings to feel free to speak about whatever recovery topic may wish to discuss. We’re not interested in formalities & traditions of announcing who & what you are. We’re just simply happy you chose to attend. We support your desired anonymity.
